In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top social apps in Bahrain showed varied performance on the Android platform. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, reflects trends in weekly downloads and revenue, shedding light on user engagement and app monetization.

TikTok had a notable quarter with a consistent rise in weekly revenue. Starting at around $20K in late September, revenue surged to approximately $55K by the end of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 2.3K in the last week of December, indicating a steady user acquisition trend.

Instagram also maintained a solid presence in Bahrain. Weekly revenue remained relatively low, with a brief peak at $47 in late October. Downloads, however, showed an upward trend, climbing from 1.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 2.1K in the final week of December, suggesting growing popularity among users.

TikTok Lite - Save Data, another offering from TikTok Pte. Ltd., saw steady download numbers throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from 1K to 1.4K, with a noticeable increase towards the end of December, reaching 1.4K.

Shorts VotTak: Short Video App experienced significant growth in downloads, especially in the latter half of the quarter. Downloads rose from 461 in late September to 1.7K by the end of December, indicating a growing user base.

Facebook, a staple in the social media landscape, maintained a steady stream of downloads and revenue. Weekly revenue varied slightly, peaking at around $301 in the last week of December. Downloads were consistent, hovering around 700 to 900 per week, with a slight increase to 948 in the final week.
